<\/a>Your experts at The New You Med Spa<\/a> want to share a few facial exercises to\u00a0reduce signs of aging.\u00a0For facial exercises to work effectively you need to\u00a0follow a proper program \u2013 learn to do them correctly and make sure you\u00a0repeat them regularly. Just like regular exercise you have to stick\u00a0with it to see results!<\/p>\n When you do the exercises if your nails are long wear soft cotton\u00a0gloves to avoid scratching your face; keep relaxed throughout and sit\u00a0in front of a mirror as you exercise. \u00a0It is always best to do them when you aren\u2019t pushed\u00a0for time and when you are not tired. Add them in to your morning routine to wake up and give your skin a jump-start!<\/p>\n We always want to remind everyone not to get discouraged if you don’t get the exercise straight off \u2013 you probably need a\u00a0bit of practice before you can do each exercise easily.<\/p>\n Eyelid Exercise<\/strong><\/p>\n The first exercise aims to tone and lift the upper eyelid area to get\u00a0rid of the droopiness that comes with facial aging. \u00a0It comes from Eva\u00a0Fraser\u2019s Facial Fitness program. \u00a0Eva is a world known facial exercise\u00a0expert who has been practicing from a salon in London for many years.<\/p>\n Eyelid Exercise Steps:<\/p>\n 1. Look straight ahead into the mirror throughout this exercise<\/p>\n 2. Curve index fingers under eyebrows then raise your eyebrows and hold against the bone<\/p>\n 3. Close lids and stretch upper eyelids downwards in 5 small movements<\/p>\n 4. Hold for a count of 6<\/p>\n 5. Release the squeeze slowly in 3 counts<\/p>\n 6. Open lids, Relax, Breathe<\/p>\n 7.
