Goldberg, DDS, FADFE, and inventor of DentalVibe says \u201cThe benefits of DIY teeth whitening remedies are actually more effective than whitening toothpastes.\u201d According to Goldberg, the fibers in strawberries remove plaque and bacteria while baking soda serves as a mild abrasive.<\/p>\n<p><b>What to grab:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>2 strawberries<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>1 tsp baking soda<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>What to do:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Mash strawberries, and then add baking soda until a paste is formed. Brush on paste and allow to sit for five minutes. Promptly brush it off, then floss between the teeth to get rid of any excess residue from the strawberries. Strawberries are acidic so make sure you don\u2019t skip this step! The final step? Look up in that mirror and smile at those new pearly whites!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To keep them white, make sure you brush at least twice a day.
