Our clients’ favorite way to begin their spa experience at Pure is in the waterhouse, complete with whirlpool, rain shower, and steam cave. Use of the facility is complimentary with any spa service… and when you are a Pure Member, you can enjoy the Waterhouse at anytime (other than Saturdays), even without an appointment!

There are many benefits to regular use of a wet sauna. Because wet saunas cause you to sweat, your pores open up, leading to a temporary cleansing of the skin. Likewise, the heat dilates your blood vessels, increasing blood flow by about 100 percent after 10 or 15 minutes. This lends your skin a healthful, “glowing” appearance. The key health benefits of the wet sauna lie in its relaxing qualities. The heat lowers your blood pressure and your pulse, creating a soothing feeling and helping to fight the effects of stress. Wet saunas also help reduce soreness and encourage recovery by relaxing the muscles. Although dry saunas offer many of the same benefits as wet saunas — including opening the pores and relaxing the muscles — only wet saunas help out your sinuses. Did we mention that our steam caveis infused with eucalyptus oil? Even sitting in our hot, bubbly whirlpool has some awesome health benefits as well! Sitting in the whirlpool can be a relaxing way to spend time. The bubbly hot tub waters can be particularly soothing, and sitting in the comfortably warm water can help you slow down and forget about the busyness of your day. For people suffering from skeletal ailments such as arthritis, carpal tunnel, tendonitis, and other types of bodily aches and pains, spending time in the hot tub will typically provide some much-needed relief.Due to the buoyancy from the bubbles created by the tub’s jets, we feel our own weight disappear, our blood circulation increases with the heat, the tightness in our muscles relaxes, and inflammation in our sensitive joints is reduced.

Don’t forget about our rain shower! Did you know that switching from hot (whirlpool) to cold (rain shower) water has been used for centuries to experience the benefits such as increased energy, increased circulation, and detoxification? The extremes of hot and cold water cause your muscles to expand and contract which offers gentle detoxification as toxins are squeezed from your muscles. It also improves circulation.

Our Waterhouse facility is co-ed so we do require swimwear. We also provide you with a robe, towel, and spa sandals.
