Through the use of innovative and breakthrough bonding technologies, these treatments actually improve the health and condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle.

The end result is smooth, healthy, frizz-free hair with radiant shine!

Brazilian hair straightening treatments eliminate frizz, straighten the hair and last about three months. These keratin-based treatments are performed on all types of chemically-treated (bleached, hi-lights, colored, permed, relaxed or previously straightened) and virgin hair. The technique of the application is similar to the Japanese Yuko System in the way that heated flat irons are used to close the product into the hair cuticle.

These treatments aim to straighten curls and waves and to reduce frizz. The treatments do not guarantee completely straight hair, although if performed correctly they can reduce between 50 and 80 percent of the curl depending on the original hair texture. Treatments last around 10–12 weeks and repeating the treatment every few months will allow for treatment of new growth. Downtime after it is performed is a 72 hour period in which the recipient cannot wash or wet the hair, exercise, tuck the hair behind the ears, or pin it up with any hair clip, pony tail holder or headband, as doing so may compromise the result of the treatment.

This lovely photo is our very own Minna Taylor. She had this treatment done and LOVES the results. She said: “All of my frizz is gone! It’s so much easier to manage. I feel like the Pantene commercials with silky, healthy hair. So excited and I will be doing this for life now.”

We do have a shampoo and conditioner that coincide with the Keratin Treatment. If you use it, it will prolong your results.

This treatment usually runs at $250 but we have a fall special making it only $149! Call and make an appointment today. With the dry, dehydrating winter months quickly approaching; let’s give a little love to our hair. Because it could be HAIR TODAY AND GONE TOMORROW! (haha…)
